SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES – Updated June 8
After the announcement of the Ontario Government on June 8th, we look forward to planning the return to in-person physical gatherings over the coming weeks. We want to make sure that our return is both safe and done well. Know that our staff and leadership are working hard to ensure this. We will continue to create online experiences that you and your family can enjoy going forward so that you can resume in-person participation when you feel it is safe. Please fill out the following form to help us as we make decisions regarding the re-opening.
We have currently hit pause on all ministry gatherings at both of our sites. Please connect with your ministry leader for further updates and continue to check online and on social media for updates.
“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of
power and of love and of a sound mind.”
1 Timothy 1:7
We believe that it is at times like this that we need to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. Let’s lovingly share the hope and peace that we have in Jesus with those who are feeling alone and anxious. Share our online service as a way to encourage them and point to the peace and hope we know can be found in Christ.
Let’s love as Jesus has called us to love. Reach out to family, friends and neighbours, the elderly and the vulnerable who might need an extra hand, a phone call or even to pick up needed supplies.
We care about you and love you. If you need additional support or pastoral care during this pandemic, please contact the church office at 519-621-6566 or email email@example.com and we will make sure one of our pastoral staff reaches out to you.
We know and believe in the power of prayer especially in times like these. If you have a prayer request you would like to share with us, please send those to firstname.lastname@example.org
Pray for our community
It is obvious that this has had a deep impact on the people around us. Pray for those who are anxious, scared and alone. Pray for those who are unwell and in need of healing. Pray for God to use his people to be a beacon of love and peace.
Pray for our leaders
Our leaders are under immense pressure as communities look for their direction. Pray that they would make wise decisions and would lead our communities well.
Pray for front-line workers
Front-line workers in hospitals, long-term care and other facilities are working long hours under immense pressure. Pray that God would give them his peace and grant them health and endurance as they practically care for the vulnerable and unwell.
The Mission of the church doesn’t stop. Everything that we do is done through the generous and sacrificial giving of our church community. We are actively looking for ways that we can positively reach out to our community and show the love of Christ in practical and meaningful ways. Please partner with us in this mission. There are many ways to give.
We will continue to provide updates via our social media channels as well as through our regular emails. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will do our best to keep you informed.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us via social media, telephone or email. Please use email@example.com or call 519-621-6566
