From our Lead Pastor
Something to Hang on to,
when Monday Morning Rolls Around…
Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World. This is what we are about. When you come to our services, expect to feel welcomed in a casual atmosphere where you will meet people of all ages, from diverse backgrounds and at different stages in their spiritual journey. We teach the Bible with passion and application so you will have something to hang on to as you live out your week. Our desire is to walk with you in whatever season of life you are in and our prayer for you is that you would become a joy filled fully devoted follower of Jesus.
Whether you feel like you’ve got things together or feel life is completely falling apart, welcome. We are here to bless and encourage you with truth and grace. Welcome to the journey!
God is the Creator of all that exists. He is glorious in every way. He created us to worship him and give him glory. The Bible is God’s Word and is a true and accurate account of God’s love for us. Its purpose is to teach us how to have a relationship with him, worship him, and bring him glory. We believe the greatest joy and deepest meaning comes from loving God.
Deuteronomy 11:1, Joshua 22:5, Matthew 22:38, Mark 12:33, Jude 1:21.
Jesus tells us that after Loving God, the next greatest love we are to have is a love for others. This allows the love of God to flow through us and be experienced by others. Loving others requires time, energy and sacrifice. We are committed to loving others and doing it with great joy! In loving others, we experience in very real ways the pleasure of God in us.
1 John 4:21, John 13:34; 15:12, 1 John 3:23, 1 Thessalonians 4:9, Ephesians 5:2, Galatians 5:14, James 2:8.
Serve the World
The Church is Jesus’ body and we are to show his love to the world as his hands and feet. Every follower of Jesus is called to be a “minister” of his good news in word and in deed, through acts of loving service and a willingness to share the truth of the gospel with everyone. The scope of God’s love is worldwide, and we are committed to taking the message and love of Jesus to the farthest, forgotten places of the world.
Mark 10:45, Matthew 25:35, Hebrew 6:10, James 1:27, Galatians 6:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:14.
