As the people of Israel depart Egypt God leads them day and night in the form of a pillar of cloud and pillar of fire. When God leads them he does not lead them by the most direct route, instead he lead them on the route they need to take. What does it look like for us as God’s people to allow him to lead us and to trust both the timing and the direction of his leading even if it may not make sense to us in the moment.
