Nothing can cause us to doubt God quite like a broken spirit. The difficulties of life can drain our faith in the promises of God. That’s exactly what happened to the people of Israel. Thank God that he doesn’t give up on us even if the difficulties of life have caused us to give up on Him and that His faithfulness to fulfill the promises He has made is not dependent on our faithfulness to Him.
