Most of the teaching time will be spent rolling out the Christmas offering. The Christmas offering is a tangible reminder of what is possible when we come together. A reminder of the importance and power of community. We need each other, the admonition to not give up meeting together in Hebrews is rooted in our need to encourage and spur one another on. The encouragement in Galatians is for “us” collectively to not grow weary in doing good that’s followed by the promise that as we work together in community to do good and to point people towards the one who truly is good we will reap if a harvest if we do not give up.
