Emotionally Healthy Men – Equip Class

To thrive as a Christian man requires emotional maturity. This class will help men to:

  • identify how emotional and spiritual maturity are connected;
  • identify obstacles to emotional maturity;
  • create pathways for breaking through obstacles;
  • establish rhythms and habits that lead to growth and maturity;
  • and much more!

Each session will include a 15-minute video teaching, small group discussion, and take-home exercises.

The $60 registration fee covers the Emotionally Healthy book, workbook, and daily devotional.

Kitchener First Steps Gathering

Are you new to Forward? Or maybe you’ve been attending for a little while, and you are still looking for a deeper connection. You are invited to our First Steps Gathering.

This is a space to enjoy a great meal together, connect with others, and learn more about the church. We want everyone in our church to feel welcomed and connected.  Our next First Steps Gathering is happening here at the church on Sunday, June 9, after the church service.  Let us know you are coming by registering ahead of time.

Kitchener Women’s Equip Class – Discover How You Personally Connect with God

Every person is uniquely created by God, with their own unique personality, temperament, and interests. And how we are wired will impact how we approach growing as a disciple of Jesus.

In this Equip Class, you will discover how you personally connect best with God. Through this 4-week study, you will examine 9 different ways people often use to connect with God, and you will discover which approaches are most meaningful to you.

The $25 registration fee covers the cost of the book Sacred Pathways by Gary Thomas.

Kitchener Alpha Course

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith, over the course of 6-weeks. It’s relaxed, low-key, friendly, and fun. Bring a friend and join us over coffee and dessert as we discuss some of the important topics of life and faith.

Important Registration Instructions
Please read this entire page before beginning to register.

Camper Groups
Kindergarten Camp and Elementary Camp will be divided into smaller groups of campers.  Each group will participate in the same program.  If your child is attending camp with a friend or a sibling and they would like to be in the same group please ensure that they are registered in the same group.  You are able to choose their group during registration.  If the group doesn’t matter to you, please choose a group other than Group 1 as Group 1 tends to fill quickest since most parents choose it by default.  Please note that the groups are subject to change based on camper registration and other factors and are not guaranteed.

Registering

Please ensure that you log in as yourself when prompted after entering the code sent to your cell phone or email. After logging in as yourself you can select the participants (your children).

Weekly Registration Closure
Registration for Camp Forward Day Camps will close at noon, Thursday the week prior to each respective camp week.

Payment Plan, Deposit, Scholarship and Refund Info
We do have scholarships available.  If you would like to apply for one please wait until it has been approved before beginning the registration process.  You can apply for a scholarship by filling out a scholarship application.

You may register with a minimum deposit of $10/week plus $5 each for before/after care per week until May 21.  You can pay off the balance as you can.  The full balance is due on May 21.  You will receive a monthly reminder email.  If you prefer to pay cash or cheque you may to do so by coming to the Forward Church Cambridge office between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.  After May 21 the full balance is due upon registration.

There is a $10/week non-refundable admin deposit. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the first day of each camp week are totally non-refundable. Deposits are transferable to a new camp week (space permitting) with a minimum of 5 days notice. Exceptions may be made in the case of an emergency.

Campers in Kindergarten
If your child is in JK in the 2023-2024 school year please select “Pre-K” as their grade when registering.  If your child is in SK in the 2023-2024 school year please select “K” as their grade.  Campers must be born in 2019 or older to attend camp.  Children who will enter JK in September 2024 are not yet able to attend camp, and we do not make any exceptions.

Kitchener Child Dedication Prep Class

Our child dedication celebration provides an opportunity for parents to publicly express their decision to raise their child in a way that honours God. It is also a time for our church community to say, “We will partner with you in this journey.”

Join us in person at our Kitchener site on Sunday, April 28, at 6:00 pm. to discover what God desires for your family. This class is required for parents who have not recently attended a prep class and wish to participate in the dedication celebration on Sunday, May12.
